Mansoora Malegaon to witness Historic 1st National Conference on Technology on 23rd & 24th February

Mansoora Malegaon to witness Historic 1st National Conference on Technology on 23rd & 24th February 2019 which is organized and hosted by Maulana Mukhtar Ahmed Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC). It is one of its kind conference which is hosted in interiors of Maharashtra to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and awareness amongst female students and rural youths at MMANTC. The conference also aims to bring together researchers, scientists, industry experts, academicians and policy makers to promote STEM, and specially promote and encourage women’s participation in STEM.

Maulana Mukhtar Ahmed Nadvi, Chairman JMES, said that “Our founder’s vision was to empower the youth of India through quality technical education. Through our conference on technology, we want to connect our students with industry and provide skill development for the industry and for their professional career and entrepreneurship journey.”

Renowned guest Dr. Tausif Malik, Global Chair of Muslim Democrats Abroad (Democratic Party USA) will also attend the conference. He believes in the Gandhian philosophy of empowerment of rural India through sustainable development. The sole objective is to promote and create a talent pool in future technologies creating sustainable development through “Reverse Migration”.

Ainul Attar, former Joint Secretary of Minority Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, would grace the occasion as Chief Guest. The MMANTC has also invited dignitaries such as Prof. (Dr.) N. B. Pasalkar, Dr. A. K. Kureshi, Dr. Neha Dand, and Altaf Pirjade.

Dr. Munnazza Afreen, Chief Convener & Head, Faculty Training& Development said that “Females participation in Technology and entrepreneurship is very low and through the conference we want to promote the same to our students, attendees and well-wishers.”

The 1st National Conference on Technology would have different segments such as Lecture series, Startup Showcase, Hackathon, Recruitment drive and Training Sessions for Academicians.

Renowned personalities such as names Akram Hoque, Ashraf Mohamedy, Faizan Ansari, Sanjay Jamkar , Y L Bhirud, Yousuf Khan, Nafisa Mohamedy, Nida Kazi would be part of the of Lecture series, Startup Showcase, Hackathon, Recruitment drive and Training Sessions for Academicians.

As part of education to career theme the organizers have invited India’s first Shariah compliant Stock Investment Consultant Ashraf Mohamedy founder of IDAFA Finance to address the students, staff and guests about the importance of saving and investment in Shariah compliant Stock & Shares.

Dr. Munnazza Afreen further added that we want our students to benefit from the government schemes such as ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’, and ‘Skill India’ and ‘Startup India’. She has further requested everyone associated with science & Technology in the region to witness the historical conference and make it a grand success.
