Startup Oman and Wadi Accelerator sign partnership for Startup Grind


Startup Oman, the sultanate’s only platform created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and the ‘home of entrepreneurship’ has signed a partnership with Oman Accelerator Fund. Through this, Oman Accelerator Fund has become the exclusive Oman sponsor for Startup Grind.

Oman Accelerator Fund (Wadi Accelerator) is a seed fund and three-month accelerator programme founded by Oman Technology Fund and powered by 500 startups. The Accelerator provides seed funding, a co-working space and a 12-week coaching/mentoring programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharifa al Barami, managing director of Wadi Accelerator, said, “It is with delight that we execute this partnership of exclusive local sponsorship for Startup Grind Muscat. We believe that both entities serve the larger goal of building an entrepreneurial regional ecosystem that is connected through a vibrant network of startups, investors and mentors.

Startup Grind is a global entrepreneurial community made up of 400,000 entrepreneurs in 200 cities and 85 countries around the world. Startup Grind Muscat educates, inspires and connects entrepreneurs in the city, focusing on technology entrepreneurship.
