Tzkrti.com Launches Cultural Impact Fund to Empower Arab Artists Across SWANA and the Diaspora: Arab online ticketing platform Tzkrti.com has officially launched the Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund, a bold new initiative designed to support grassroots artists, organisers, and creative spaces shaping the future of Arab culture across the SWANA region and the global diaspora.

Founded in Palestine, Tzkrti.com has steadily evolved from a small local project into a regional cultural tech platform. Today, it connects audiences through music, art, and shared cultural experiences that celebrate Arab identity in all its diversity.

Bridging the Cultural Gap for 30 Million Arabs Abroad

More than 30 million Arabs live outside the SWANA region, making the Arab diaspora one of the largest and most diverse in the world. However, many remain disconnected from their cultural roots.

Tzkrti.com was built to bridge that gap. Over time, the platform has become a catalyst for live experiences that foster belonging, amplify joy, and strengthen cultural ties between communities across borders.

Now, with the launch of the Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund, the company is taking its mission one step further.

Biannual Grants to Support Grassroots Creativity

The Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund will award two grants of USD 3,000 per project, twice annually, to support bold and independent artistic, musical, and community-driven initiatives.

Importantly, the fund focuses on grassroots scenes and independent collectives that rarely receive institutional backing. By directing resources to the roots of creativity, Tzkrti aims to empower cultural practitioners who often rely heavily on donor funding.

Rogeh Khleif, Co-Founder and CEO of Tzkrti.com, emphasized the urgency of the initiative:

“It is well known that the cultural field is complex and faces major challenges, particularly its reliance on individual funding to bring projects to life across all cultural disciplines. Generally, this sector relies heavily on donor and funding institutions. We believe there is a responsibility on us as founders of Tzkrti to establish the Impact Fund to support independent artists, especially as we serve as a link between audiences and cultural practitioners. Our aim is to strengthen independent cultural initiatives so they can rise, thrive, and continue.”

A Fully Independent, Company-Funded Model

Unlike traditional grant programmes, the Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund is fully funded by Tzkrti.com itself. Therefore, the initiative forms part of the company’s long-term strategy to build sustainable cultural ecosystems rather than short-term sponsorship campaigns.

During its pilot phase, the fund will operate through a structured application process. Tzkrti will select projects based on originality, measurable community impact, and contribution to local cultural development.

Moreover, each supported initiative will be featured in Tzkrti Stories, a digital content series that includes visual reports and short videos highlighting artists and communities redefining Arab creativity from the ground up.

Strengthening an Independent Arab Cultural Scene

Elias Khleif, Co-Founder of Tzkrti.com, explained the broader vision:

“The idea behind founding Tzkrti was to make organising cultural activities accessible and easier. Our ultimate goal has always been to strengthen and build a free, independent Arab cultural scene and to provide grants and support to organisers, artists, and everyone contributing to the cultural field.”

Through this initiative, Tzkrti signals a shift in how tech startups engage with culture. Instead of focusing purely on commercial growth, the platform is investing directly in creativity and community resilience.

Application Timeline and Eligibility

The application period opens on 1 February 2026 and runs until 28 February 2026. The first two winners will be announced in early April 2026.

Who Can Apply?

  • Independent artists, collectives, and organisers in the Arab region and the diaspora
  • Projects in music, live performances, festivals, cultural spaces, and multidisciplinary arts

In the future, Tzkrti plans to expand the programme by introducing public voting and advisory partnerships with regional and international cultural stakeholders.

Redefining the Role of Tech in Arab Culture

The Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund aligns with the company’s long-term objective to redefine the role of tech startups in the Arab cultural landscape. Rather than operating solely as a ticketing platform, Tzkrti.com positions itself as an ecosystem builder — one that invests in the artists and communities shaping contemporary Arab identity.

As the SWANA region and its diaspora continue to evolve, initiatives like this ensure that independent voices not only survive but thrive.
