DeshiPro, a professional service marketplace, launched its operation at a programme in the city recently.
The startup connects ‘qualified and expert service providers with the clients looking for services’, it said in a press release.
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak was the chief guest at the launching ceremony while Bestway Group chairman Mizanur Rahman and Amirul Islam Khokon, managing director of Malaysia-based company SEAL Consult Sdn Bhd, were present as special guests.
The government will invest millions in prospective startups that have market potential to aid growth, Zunaid said at the program.
Starting from interior designer to web developer, from photography to physiotherapy, from legal services to business services – all kinds of services are offered by DeshiPro, said the press release.
DeshiPro also has industrial services like ERP softwares to engineering consulting services with the project management and construction services.
“We are not only making people’s life easier in the process, being a startup itself, we are also helping the small businesses and startups grow,” said Tanzeev Haque, founder and CEO of DeshiPro, which is one of the winners of Connecting Startups Bangladesh idea stage competition.
