Dubai Firm Apologises for False Lifetime UAE Golden Visa Claims. In a surprising turn of events, Dubai-based Rayad Group has apologised for spreading false information about lifetime UAE golden visas priced at Rs 23.30 lakh. Earlier this week, the company claimed that foreign nationals could obtain lifetime golden visas under simplified conditions via consulting or commercial entities.
However, the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) swiftly denied these claims. According to Khaleej Times, the authority clarified that no such lifetime visa programme exists, dismissing the reports quoting Rayad Group.
Consequently, Rayad Group issued an apology on Wednesday, taking full responsibility for disseminating the “incorrect” information. In a statement sent exclusively to Khaleej Times, the company acknowledged the confusion caused by its announcement and admitted that the lifetime visa claim was misinformation.
Additionally, another entity involved in the controversy, VFS ETM Services-FZCO—a business unit of VFS Global—also released a statement to Khaleej Times. The company explained that its role was strictly limited to informing interested individuals about the services offered by Rayad Group.
Specifically, VFS ETM Services clarified, “We entered into a non-exclusive referral agreement with Rayad Group Management LLE FZ. Rayad Group authorised VFS ETM to receive enquiries from individuals interested in the UAE Golden Visa scheme.”
Therefore, both companies have distanced themselves from the misleading claim, reiterating that the UAE does not offer any lifetime golden visa under the current legal framework.
Finally, this incident, reported by Khaleej Times, serves as a cautionary reminder for applicants to verify visa-related information directly from official UAE government sources before making financial commitments.
