Dubai Taxi Company and Kabi by Al Ghurair Launch UAE’s Largest Taxi Fleet, Setting New Standards in Mobility: Dubai always wows when it comes to innovation, and the city has once again raised the bar. In a groundbreaking move, Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) and Kabi by Al Ghurair have joined forces with Zed, the UAE’s homegrown ride-hailing app, to create the largest and most advanced taxi fleet in the UAE.

The strategic alliance was formalized through an agreement signed by Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Kabi, Al Ghurair Mobility, marking a historic milestone in Dubai’s journey towards smarter, faster, and more customer-centric urban mobility.

Through this partnership, DTC’s 6,200 taxis and Kabi’s 3,680 taxis will be seamlessly integrated into Bolt and Zed e-hailing platforms. This integration ensures unprecedented availability, drastically reduced waiting times, and a superior ride-hailing experience for residents and visitors. Newly added taxis will automatically join the platforms, allowing the fleet to grow dynamically with demand.

The collaboration unites two of Dubai’s most influential mobility players, reflecting the city’s ambition to convert 80% of taxi trips to e-hailing, aligned with the RTA’s visionary smart mobility and sustainability goals.

Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi stated, “At DTC, we are committed to innovating relentlessly and building partnerships that redefine customer experience. Adding Kabi taxis to our Bolt platform expands access like never before, embedding taxis more deeply into Dubai’s digital ride-hailing ecosystem. This directly supports the government’s bold target of shifting 80% of taxi trips to e-hailing.”

He also highlighted that Dubai’s taxi sector achieved 7% growth in the first half of 2025 compared with 2024, showcasing remarkable resilience and demand.

Badr Al Ghurair added, “This unprecedented partnership combines expertise and cutting-edge technology to set new benchmarks in efficiency, service quality, and sustainability. Through Kabi and Zed, we are proud to redefine ride-hailing and elevate Dubai’s global mobility leadership.”

With this alliance, Dubai continues to dazzle the world, demonstrating how innovation, technology, and collaboration deliver a smoother, faster, and greener travel experience for everyone.
