Capital Governorate launches Manama Entrepreneurship Week 2024

Capital Governorate launches Ninth Edition of Manama Entrepreneurship Week 2024, in collaboration with Tamkeen and over 20 institutes.

Scheduled from April 21-25, MEW 2024’s theme is “Smart Cities and Entrepreneurship.” Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa expressed its aims.

The event aims to foster relationships among entrepreneurs, investors, and young individuals. The governor highlighted the theme’s focus on entrepreneurs driving transformation.

Entrepreneurs play a pivotal role in collaboration with governments to transform cities into smart, sustainable environments through innovative technology.

Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman emphasized the event’s goal of catalyzing the transformation of cities into smart ecosystems through technological advancements.

The MEW 2024 will include various seminars and workshops, in partnership with Kuwait Finance House, BMMI, Ebrahim K. Kanoo, and Al Arayedh Group holding, the University of Bahrain (UoB), Bahrain Polytechnic, Hope Ventures, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) Global Shapers Community “Manama”, Global Shapers Community “Budaiya”, StartUp Bahrain, and other institutes.
